Karen is a Scientist in the Data Sciences & Analytics Division at PNNL. She joined PNNL in February 2016 from Noblis, Inc., a not-for-profit science and engineering government consultancy where she worked as a biodefense subject matter expert and program manager. She has broad experience in WMD topics and has worked in the federal government space since 2000. In addition to her role as Project Manager for the Insider Threat Detection in the Cloud (ITDC) Use Case, Karen works on diverse projects across the National Security Directorate that range from biosurveillance to cyber security. Karen holds an MPH in Epidemiology from George Mason University, an MA in Food Studies from New York University, and a BA in History and International Relations from Tufts University.
