Dr. Lisa M. Bramer, Ph.D. is a Research Scientist in the Applied Statistics and Computational Modeling Group at PNNL. Lisa has experience with statistical modeling, experimental design, spatial statistics, time series analysis, hierarchical models, Bayesian statistics, statistical/machine learning, data visualization, data mining, and high performance statistical computing.
Since joining PNNL in 2013, Lisa’s research has spanned over a variety of technical areas including large-scale statistical computing, proteomics, metabolomics, biomarker discovery, microbiome research, electrical energy market, climate forecasting, and machine learning.
Lisa received a Ph.D. and M.S. in Statistics from Iowa State University, where she developed statistical methods for spatial modeling and forecasting applied to wind speed and direction forecasting. She also holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics and a B.A. in Psychology from Purdue University.
